The goal of the Secure Livelihoods program is to strengthen the economic capacity, self-reliance, food security, and nutrition of vulnerable households to improve their overall health. To achieve this, the program implements targeted interventions that address key challenges such as limited family capacity to generate and manage income, inadequate access to financial services, and restricted access to community-based health insurance (Mutuelle de Santé). These challenges are tackled through a saving group approach that empowers families to build resilience and sustain their livelihoods.
